Context:

SMB, a versatile B2B and B2C product developed by Engageware, serves as a powerful platform for creating activities with a primary focus on facilitating appointment bookings. Seamlessly bridging the gap between businesses and customers, SMB empowers users to effortlessly generate various types of activities that encompass appointment scheduling. Furthermore, SMB offers the convenience of sending email invitations for these appointments, enriching the user experience with enhanced communication and engagement capabilities.

Problem 1.0:

Optimizing Appointment Management: Addressing User Challenges and Introducing Activity-Based Sorting

  • Subsequent to a comprehensive user survey, it became apparent that users encountered difficulties in locating specific pre-existing appointments within an extensive list, which frequently encompassed well over a hundred entries.

  • Valuable client feedback emphasized the need for an enhanced sorting mechanism, with a focus on organizing appointments based on their associated activities.

  • I tackled the issue by implementing a structured activity list, providing users with a seamless pathway to access appointments associated with specific activities.

  • This innovative solution enhances appointment management by enabling easy sorting based on the corresponding activities, fostering a more organized and efficient user experience.

  • To empower users further, I introduced a versatile filter option that allows for the simultaneous selection of multiple activities, enhancing flexibility and user control.

  • Additionally, I incorporated a blind search feature, enabling users to swiftly locate any activity by inputting keywords across various fields, enhancing usability and accessibility.

  • Through this comprehensive approach, I not only optimize appointment sorting but also equip users with intuitive tools for effortless activity exploration, elevating the overall user experience.

  • Users are absolutely loving the new and improved user flow that I've introduced.
